Our Deanery is made up of six benefices (groups of parishes) set in the stunning and inspirational landscape of the North York Moors, and taking in a sweep of the North Yorkshire Jurassic Coast from Staithes to Robin Hood’s Bay. All our churches have something special about them and represent a continuous Christian presence in the area stretching back over 1,400 years.
Following the advice of the Archbishops of Canterbury and York on July 5th, our churches are able to resume public worship once they have made sure this can be done safely. Each church will act according to its own circumstances, so please consult A Church Near You, each church's website or notice board for details.
Our safeguarding policies and procedures are those of the Diocese of York to be found here: www.dioceseofyork.org.uk/safeguarding
